Life pulls us in countless directions, making it easy to fall away from mindfulness practice. The Art of Being Present: Back to the Cushion invites you to return to presence, whether you're reconnecting after a break or strengthening your regular practice. Each session offers: - Silent and Guided Practice to anchor yourself in the present moment. - A Short Teaching on a core theme of mindfulness and awareness. - A Space to Share and Reflect on your personal practice—because the challenges you face are rarely yours alone. This is a standalone session, perfect for both newcomers and experienced practitioners seeking a supportive, relaxed environment to deepen their practice. About the Facilitator: I have been practicing mindfulness and Buddhist meditation since 2008 and took the Buddhist precepts at the Samye Ling monastery, where I received my Buddhist name. I trained as a mindfulness teacher after years of personal practice and now lead sessions in workshops, recovery programs, and community groups. My teaching is grounded in both mindfulness and Buddhist principles, offering a practical, compassionate approach that is accessible to all.
